Our portfolio of managed properties is expanding with a new production facility for Witte Automotive, an international manufacturing company specialising in the development and production of system solutions for the automotive industry. The building is located in Panattoni Park Ostrov South in Ostrov, Karlovy Vary region. This region has a long industrial history, which Witte Automotive is now continuing. The company is one of the leading employers in the region. The Ostrov site, which will be fully completed this spring, will be its third production plant in the Karlovy Vary region.
The new facility will have an area of 27,000 m² and will employ up to 350 people. We are now in the process of taking over the building so that we can ready it for the start of production. What exactly does this entail? We will provide full support to the tenant, especially in the early days after the building is completed. We will make preparations for the final approval process, which will take place after the completion of a trial period. Then there is integrating all the building and lease data into our systems and setting up internal processes, all very important work.
The Ostrov South Industrial Park, of which the new facility is part, integrates sustainable building features and modern technologies to reduce energy consumption. These include heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, heat recovery systems, and stormwater management.
The complex will aspire to the international BREEAM New Construction certification, aiming to achieve the “Excellent” rating. The park forms part of the Accolade Fund’s property portfolio. The project’s developer was our sister company, Panattoni CZ + SK.
